Ibiza Cathedral

Ibiza Cathedral, dedicated to Our Lady of the Snows, stands at the top of Dalt Vila, the walled upper town. The parish of Santa Maria was founded after the Catalan conquest of 1235; the Gothic apse and bell tower date from the 14th century, and the nave was rebuilt between 1715 and 1728. Inside are Gothic panel paintings and a silver-gilt monstrance of 1399.
