Pera Museum

Pera Museum opened in 2005 in Tepebaşı, in the former Bristol Hotel, built in 1893 to designs by Achille Manoussos and converted for the Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation. Its permanent collections cover Orientalist painting, including Osman Hamdi Bey's The Tortoise Trainer, Anatolian weights and measures, and Kütahya tiles and ceramics, beside temporary exhibitions.
