American Jazz Museum
The American Jazz Museum opened in 1997 in the 18th & Vine Jazz District of Kansas City, in a building it shares with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. Its exhibits cover the history of jazz with a focus on Kansas City and include Charlie Parker's alto saxophone; the Blue Room is a working jazz club with live music.
