Kansas City Union Station

Kansas City Union Station is a Beaux-Arts railway station designed by Jarvis Hunt and opened in 1914. Its Grand Hall has a 95-foot ceiling, three chandeliers and a six-foot clock. After closing in 1985 it was restored and reopened in 1999 with Science City, theaters and exhibition space, and Amtrak trains have stopped here again since 2002.
