Systrafoss

Systrafoss is a waterfall at Kirkjubæjarklaustur, where the stream Fossá falls in two strands down the cliff behind the village from the lake Systravatn above. The falls and the lake take their name, "sisters", from the nuns of the medieval convent at Kirkjubæjarklaustur, and a forestry plantation surrounds the foot of the falls.
