Icehotel

The Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi, about 17 km east of Kiruna, is a hotel rebuilt every winter since 1990 from snow and ice taken from the Torne River, with suites designed by invited artists, and it stands from December to April. A year-round part, Icehotel 365, keeps ice art suites and an ice bar cooled through the summer, and day visitors can walk through it.
