Jukkasjärvi Church

Jukkasjärvi Church, in the village of Jukkasjärvi about 18 km east of Kiruna, is a red timber church built around 1607–1608 and rebuilt in 1726, the oldest church in the province of Lapland, with a free-standing bell tower from the 1740s. Inside are a carved teak altarpiece by Bror Hjorth from 1958 and an organ decorated with reindeer horn and Sami symbols.
