Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign

The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign stands in the median of Las Vegas Boulevard south of the Strip resorts. Designed by Betty Willis and put up in 1959, the diamond-shaped neon sign with silver-dollar letters was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. A small car park beside it lets visitors stop for photographs.
