About Las Vegas
Las Vegas is the desert city of Nevada known for the casino resorts of the Strip, with the Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon close by. The Strip runs south from the Strat Tower past the Bellagio fountains, the Eiffel Tower replica at Paris Las Vegas and the High Roller to Mandalay Bay, with Sphere just to the east. Downtown has the Fremont Street Experience, the Mob Museum and the Neon Museum's boneyard of old signs. Red Rock Canyon lies half an hour west and the Hoover Dam about 40 km south-east. Two or three days cover the main sights; a car helps beyond the Strip.
