National Gallery of Slovenia

The National Gallery of Slovenia, founded in 1918, holds the country's main collection of art from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. Since 1925 it has occupied the Narodni dom, built in 1896 to plans by František Škabrout; a glass hall added in 2001 links it to a later wing. The original Robba Fountain is kept inside.
