Museum of Art in Łódź

The Museum of Art in Łódź opened in 1931 with the International Collection of Modern Art assembled by the a.r. group of avant-garde artists, including Władysław Strzemiński and Katarzyna Kobro. Its main building, ms1, is Maurycy Poznański's late-19th-century palace on Więckowskiego Street, showing the collection beside temporary exhibitions.
