Piotrkowska Street

Piotrkowska Street is the main street of Łódź, running about 4.2 km in a straight line from Liberty Square to Independence Square. Laid out in 1823, it is lined with 19th-century tenements, factory owners' palaces and courtyards, and its central section is a pedestrian zone with cafés and a walk of fame set into the pavement.
