About Los Angeles
Los Angeles is California's largest city, spread between the Pacific and the mountains, with Hollywood, the Getty Center and Griffith Observatory. Hollywood Boulevard holds the Walk of Fame, the TCL Chinese Theatre and the Dolby Theatre, and Griffith Observatory looks across to the Hollywood Sign. On Wilshire Boulevard, LACMA, the Academy Museum and the La Brea Tar Pits stand side by side. Downtown has Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Broad and Olvera Street, and the Getty Center crowns a hill in Brentwood. Universal Studios and the Warner Bros. lot lie north of the hills. Distances are long: plan four days and use a car or the Metro.
