Howard Carter House

Howard Carter House is the domed mudbrick house on Luxor's west bank that the British archaeologist built in 1910 and lived in when he found the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922. It opened as a museum in 2009 and was restored in 2022; a replica of Tutankhamun's burial chamber stands in the grounds.
