Kunsthalle Mannheim

Kunsthalle Mannheim is a museum of modern and contemporary art, built in 1907 to a design by Hermann Billing and opened as a permanent municipal gallery in 1909. Its collection of around 1,500 works spans French Modernism, with paintings by Manet and Cezanne, to contemporary artists including Anselm Kiefer, shown partly in a 2018 glass-roofed extension.
