Fort de Chillon
Fort de Chillon is an artillery fortress hidden in the rock opposite Chillon Castle, built from 1941 as the western gateway to the Swiss National Redoubt. The army used it until it was disarmed in 1995. Today it is a museum where visitors explore about 2,000 m² of tunnels, gun positions, dormitories, an infirmary and the engine room.
