Oklahoma State Capitol

The Oklahoma State Capitol houses the state legislature and the governor's office. Built in neoclassical style between 1914 and 1917, it received its dome only in 2002; inside, murals and paintings tell the state's history. Its grounds are the only state capitol grounds in the United States with working oil wells.
