Dōtonbori

Dōtonbori is an entertainment district along the Dōtonbori canal in Chūō ward, between the Dōtonbori and Nipponbashi bridges. The canal was completed in 1615; the area was long Osaka's theatre quarter and is now lined with restaurants, street-food counters and large illuminated signboards, including the Glico running man by Ebisu Bridge.
