Plaza Consistorial

The Plaza Consistorial is the square in Pamplona's old town in front of the City Hall, whose Baroque facade with statues and a clock gable dates from the 18th century. During the San Fermín festival the opening rocket, the chupinazo, is fired from the City Hall balcony on 6 July, and each morning's running of the bulls passes through the square.
