The Villa Romana di Patti is a late Roman country house on the coast below Patti, found in 1973 during construction of the A20 motorway. Built in the 4th century AD over an earlier villa, it is laid out around a large peristyle with polychrome mosaic floors, a three-apsed hall and baths, and is now covered by a protective roof.

The archaeological area of Tindari holds the remains of Tyndaris, a Greek city founded by Dionysius I of Syracuse around 396 BC on a headland above the Tyrrhenian Sea. A path leads past the city walls, a Roman quarter with houses and baths, a large arched building called the basilica and the Greek theatre, later altered by the Romans.
