About Philadelphia
Philadelphia is where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed, with Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell in its old centre. Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and the National Constitution Center stand around Independence Mall, with the Museum of the American Revolution, Elfreth's Alley and Christ Church a short walk away in Old City. The Benjamin Franklin Parkway leads from City Hall past the Barnes Foundation, the Rodin Museum and the Franklin Institute to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Two or three days cover the main sights; the centre is walkable and buses and the subway reach the rest.
