Monongahela Incline

The Monongahela Incline is a cable funicular opened in 1870, the oldest in the United States still in continuous use. Run by Pittsburgh Regional Transit as part of the public transport network, it climbs from West Carson Street near Station Square to Grandview Avenue on Mount Washington, with views over downtown.
