Point State Park

Point State Park covers the tip of downtown Pittsburgh where the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers meet to form the Ohio. It lies on the site of Fort Duquesne and Fort Pitt, whose Block House of 1764 and the Fort Pitt Museum stand in the park, and its fountain at the point throws water up to about 45 metres high.
