The Euphrasian Basilica is the cathedral of Poreč, built between 543 and 554 under Bishop Euphrasius on the site of two earlier churches. The episcopal complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, takes in the atrium, the octagonal baptistery, the bishop's palace and a 16th-century bell tower; the apse is covered in 6th-century gold-ground mosaics.

Aquacolors is a water park at Molindrio, about 3 km south of Poreč's old town, opened in May 2015 on a site of around 10 hectares. It has a set of high water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and a children's area, and a pool bar built into a 12-metre crocodile head. The park opens in the summer season only.

tourist attraction · Poreč Baredine Cave is a karst shaft cave near Nova Vas, about 7 km north-east of Poreč, protected as a geomorphological natural monument and open to visitors since 1995. Guided tours descend to about 60 metres through five halls of stalactites, stalagmites and curtains; underground lakes at the bottom hold olms, two of which are shown in a basin.

Istralandia is a water park near Nova Vas in the municipality of Brtonigla, about 13 km north of Poreč and 5 km inland from the coast, opened in June 2014. It covers about 8 hectares with a 2,500 m² wave pool, more than 20 water slides, children's pools and lounging areas. The park opens in the summer season only.
