Arrowtown Chinese Settlement

The Arrowtown Chinese Settlement is the partly restored village of Chinese gold miners who settled from the late 1860s on the banks of Bush Creek in Arrowtown, north-east of Queenstown. A short path leads past stone, mud-brick and timber huts, some set against schist cliffs, and Ah Lum's store of about 1883, with signs in English and Chinese.
