Minus 5° ICE BAR

Minus 5° ICE BAR is an ice bar in the Steamer Wharf building on the shore of Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown, kept below freezing and built from some 18 tonnes of ice. Visitors borrow jackets, boots and gloves, look at hand-carved ice sculptures and furniture, and drink cocktails or mocktails served in glasses made of ice.
