Parlement de Bretagne

The Parlement de Bretagne is the 17th-century palace of the Parliament of Brittany, the province's sovereign court, built to plans revised by Salomon de Brosse in 1618 and first used in 1655. It now houses the Rennes Court of Appeal; guided tours show rooms with painted ceilings by Noël Coypel and Jean Jouvenet, restored after a fire in 1994.
