Rennes Cathedral

Rennes Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Peter, is the seat of the Archbishop of Rennes. Its granite west front with two 48-metre towers was built in stages between 1541 and 1704, while the nave was rebuilt from 1787 to 1845 and later decorated with gilding, stucco and paintings. It has been a listed historic monument since 1906.
