Castel Sismondo

Castel Sismondo is the fortress-palace that Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, lord of Rimini, began building in 1437, with advice from Filippo Brunelleschi in 1438. Only the central core survives, without its outer ring of walls and moat; its brick towers face Piazza Malatesta, and since 2021 its rooms have housed part of the Fellini Museum.
