Arktikum

Arktikum is a museum and science centre on the bank of the Ounasjoki river in Rovaniemi, opened on 6 December 1992 to designs by the Danish architects Birch-Bonderup & Thorup-Waade. A 172-metre glass corridor points north, with the exhibition halls set below ground; they house the Regional Museum of Lapland and the Arctic Centre's displays.
