Lappia Hall

Lappia Hall is a theatre and congress building in central Rovaniemi designed by Alvar Aalto, built in phases from 1961 and finished in 1975, the last of his buildings he saw completed. Its wave-shaped roofline echoes the fells of Lapland. It is home to Rovaniemi Theatre and forms part of Aalto's civic centre with the library and town hall.
