street · Rüdesheim am Rhein Drosselgasse is a narrow, roughly 144-metre pedestrian lane through the centre of Rüdesheim, lined with half-timbered houses, wine taverns and souvenir shops. It runs between the Rhine promenade and the Markt and is one of the most visited streets in the Rheingau wine region.

Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet displays over 400 self-playing instruments from three centuries, including music boxes, barrel organs and orchestrions, in the 15th-century Brömserhof manor in Rüdesheim. Pieces include a 1905 Weber Maestro orchestrion; visits are by guided tour only, offered in nine languages.

Eibingen Abbey is an active Benedictine convent above Rüdesheim, founded by Hildegard of Bingen in 1165 and rebuilt in Neo-Romanesque style after reopening in 1904. The sisters keep the full daily office, tend the abbey's vineyard, and the twin-towered church hosts concerts during the Rheingau Musik Festival.

monument · Rüdesheim am Rhein The Niederwald Monument stands in the forest above Rüdesheim, built between 1871 and 1883 by sculptor Johannes Schilling and architect Karl Weißbach to mark the founding of the German Empire. A 12.5-metre bronze Germania, holding the Imperial Crown and Sword, tops the 38-metre structure, reachable by cable car, chairlift, road or trail.
