Birch Aquarium at Scripps

Birch Aquarium at Scripps is the public aquarium of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego, on a hillside in La Jolla above the Pacific. Opened at this site in 1992, it has more than 60 habitats with fish and invertebrates of the Pacific, a two-storey kelp forest tank, a seahorse gallery and exhibits on ocean and climate science.
