La Jolla Cove

La Jolla Cove is a small sandy cove below the sandstone cliffs of La Jolla village in San Diego, sheltered by rocky points. It lies within the San Diego–La Jolla Underwater Park, a protected marine reserve where people swim, snorkel and kayak among garibaldi fish and kelp, and sea lions and harbour seals rest on the nearby rocks.
