Rhine Falls

The Rhine Falls is a waterfall on the Rhine at Neuhausen am Rheinfall, about 3 km from Schaffhausen, 150 m wide and 23 m high and formed after the last ice age. Paths on the Neuhausen bank run along the water, Laufen Castle stands on the opposite bank, and boats cross the basin to the rock in the middle of the falls.
