The Haydn House in Joseph-Haydn-Gasse was the home of the composer Joseph Haydn from 1766 to 1778, while he was Kapellmeister at the Esterházy court. The 16th-century town house, rebuilt in 1747, holds a museum on his private life and work, with rooms, instruments and documents, and a small herb garden at the back.

The Fire Tower is the 58-metre former north gate tower of the town walls on Fő tér in Sopron. Its square base dates from the late 13th century, the round middle section from the early 14th century, and the Baroque gallery and helmet from after the fire of 1676. Visitors climb to the gallery for a view over the old town.

The Storno House is a Baroque corner house on Fő tér in Sopron, given its present form in 1720, with a rounded two-storey corner oriel. King Matthias stayed in it in 1482–83, and Franz Liszt gave concerts here. On the second floor the Sopron Museum shows the Storno Collection: the rooms of the painter and restorer Ferenc Storno's family, furnished as they lived in them.

The Fabricius House on Fő tér in Sopron stands on the remains of a Roman public building and took its present form in the 17th century, keeping a Gothic hall, Gothic and Baroque cellars and a two-storey courtyard loggia. It is named after Endre Fabricius, mayor from 1823. Part of the Sopron Museum's Museum Quarter, it shows Roman stone monuments in its cellars.

The Goat Church is a Gothic church on Fő tér in Sopron, built by Franciscan friars from about 1280 and held by the Benedictines since 1802. Its name comes from the goat in the arms of the Gaissel family, who paid for the vault and the 47-metre tower around 1400. Hungarian diets and coronations were held in it in the 17th century.
