Lake St. Moritz is a lake of 0.78 km² at 1,768 m in the Upper Engadine, with the districts of St. Moritz Dorf and St. Moritz Bad on its shores. In winter the frozen lake hosts polo matches and, since 1907, the White Turf horse races, which include skijoring, in which horses tow skiers across the ice.

tourist attraction · St. Moritz Piz Nair is a 3,056 m peak above St. Moritz, reached from the village by the Corviglia funicular or the Signal cable car and then by a cable car from Corviglia, whose upper station stands about 30 m below the summit. The mountain hosted the alpine skiing events of the 1948 Winter Olympics, and the station looks over the Upper Engadine lakes.

Muottas Muragl is a viewpoint at 2,454 m in the municipality of Samedan, between St. Moritz and Pontresina. A funicular from Punt Muragl climbs in about ten minutes to the summit station, where a hotel and restaurants look over the Upper Engadine lakes, and a trail leads on to the Segantini hut on the Schafberg.

Diavolezza is a 2,958 m pass in the municipality of Pontresina, about 13 km from St. Moritz. A cable car from the Bernina Diavolezza stop on the Bernina railway climbs to the mountain station at 2,978 m, where a mountain inn with a terrace faces Piz Bernina, Piz Palü and the Pers and Morteratsch glaciers.
