Nordic Museum

The Nordic Museum on Djurgården covers Swedish cultural history and everyday life from the 16th century to the present. It was founded by Artur Hazelius, who also created Skansen, and its building by Isak Gustaf Clason was completed in 1907. A 126-metre hall with a large seated statue of Gustav Vasa leads to exhibitions on homes, clothing, festivals and the Sami.
