Riddarholmen Church

Riddarholmen Church is the former church of a Franciscan friary founded on Riddarholmen around 1270, and the burial church of Swedish monarchs from Gustavus Adolphus to Gustaf V. Its cast-iron spire replaced one destroyed by lightning in 1835, and its walls carry the coats of arms of deceased knights of the Order of the Seraphim.
