Royal Armoury
The Royal Armoury, founded in 1628 when Gustav II Adolf ordered his campaign clothes to be kept, is Sweden's oldest museum and lies in the cellar vaults of Stockholm Palace. It shows armour, coronation robes, the king's clothes from the battle of Lützen, his stuffed horse Streiff and royal carriages.
