Taichung Confucian Temple

The Taichung Confucian Temple in the North District was built between 1972 and 1976 in the style of the Song dynasty, following the layout of the Confucius Temple in Qufu. Its Dacheng Hall, gates and side halls stand in a walled compound of about two hectares, where the city holds its yearly ceremony for the birthday of Confucius.
