Vabamu Museum of Occupations and Freedom
Vabamu is a museum at the foot of Toompea Hill on the history of Estonia during the Soviet and Nazi occupations of 1940–1991 and the restoration of independence. Opened in 2003 by the Kistler-Ritso Estonian Foundation, it tells this history through personal stories, with an e-guide in several languages and changing exhibitions on the theme of freedom.
