About Tampa
Tampa lies on Tampa Bay on Florida's Gulf coast, with a riverfront downtown, the old cigar district of Ybor City and Busch Gardens to the north. The Tampa Riverwalk follows the Hillsborough River past the Tampa Museum of Art and the Straz Center to the Tampa Bay History Center and the Florida Aquarium. Across the river, the silver minarets of the 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel rise over the Henry B. Plant Museum. Ybor City Museum State Park recalls the cigar workers, and Bayshore Boulevard runs about 7 km along the bay. Busch Gardens, ZooTampa and MOSI are in north Tampa. Two days cover the main sights.
