Teruel Cathedral, Santa María de Mediavilla, was begun as a Romanesque church in 1171 and rebuilt in Mudéjar brick from the 13th century. Its tower of 1257 is glazed with green and white ceramics, and the painted 13th-century wooden ceiling of the nave and the 1538 lantern are part of the Mudéjar World Heritage site.

The Museum of Sacred Art of Teruel shows religious paintings and sculptures from the Diocese of Teruel and Albarracín in the Episcopal Palace beside the cathedral. Its rooms are arranged by theme and colour, and the visit includes the palace's throne room, chapel and Modernista rooms restored after the Civil War.

The Mausoleum of the Lovers of Teruel holds the remains of Juan Diego de Marcilla and Isabel de Segura, the couple of a 13th-century Teruel legend. The present building beside the Church of San Pedro, designed by Alejandro Cañada, opened in 2005; its last room holds Juan de Ávalos's alabaster tombs, with the lovers' hands almost touching.

historic building · Teruel The Tower of San Martín is a Mudéjar gate tower in Teruel, built in 1315–1316 beside the church of San Martín and clad in brick patterns and green and white glazed ceramics. A street runs through the pointed arch at its base; its lower part was rebuilt in 1550, and it belongs to the Mudéjar World Heritage site.

Dinópolis is a palaeontology park on the edge of Teruel, opened in 2001, that combines the Aragonese Museum of Palaeontology with rides, shows and life-size dinosaur models. Its halls display fossils from the province, including Turiasaurus riodevensis, a sauropod described by the park's research foundation in 2006.
