Sunshine Aquarium

Sunshine Aquarium occupies the top floors and rooftop of the World Import Mart building in the Sunshine City complex in Ikebukuro. Opened in 1978 and reopened in 2011 after a full renovation, it has around 80 tanks indoors and an open-air marine garden on the roof, where sea lions and penguins swim in tanks above visitors' heads.
