Toruń Castle

Toruń Castle is the ruin of one of the earliest castles of the Teutonic Order in the Chełmno Land, built from the mid-13th century on a horseshoe plan. Townspeople captured and demolished it in 1454 at the start of the Thirteen Years' War. Visitors walk along the outer walls, the stump of the main tower and the Gdanisko latrine tower.
