Trento Cathedral

Trento Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Vigilius, is the Romanesque-Gothic cathedral on Piazza Duomo in Trento. Rebuilt from the early 13th century over a 4th-century basilica whose remains lie beneath the floor, it hosted sessions of the Council of Trent in the 16th century. Inside are medieval frescoes and the Baroque Chapel of the Crucifix.
