The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía is Valencia's opera house, designed by Santiago Calatrava as the last large building of the City of Arts and Sciences and opened in October 2005. A 230 m steel crest arches over the 75 m high building, which holds four auditoriums, the largest seating 1,470. Outside performances, visitors can tour the halls with a guide, audio guide or leaflet.
