Fondazione Querini Stampalia
The Fondazione Querini Stampalia was set up in 1869 under the will of Count Giovanni Querini Stampalia, the last of his family, in their palace beside Campo Santa Maria Formosa. It has a public library and a house museum of Venetian paintings, including works by Giovanni Bellini and Pietro Longhi, and its ground floor and garden were redesigned by Carlo Scarpa.
