Schönbrunn Palace

Schönbrunn Palace in Hietzing was the main summer residence of the Habsburgs; the Baroque palace of 1,441 rooms took its present form under Maria Theresa in the 18th century. Visitors tour the state and private apartments of Franz Joseph and Elisabeth, and walk the formal park with the Gloriette, the maze and the Orangery.
